Visualising ‘it’.

Trying to define and design a sound,feeling or following is no easy feat. When we were asked to create an on and offline visual identity for bass heavyweights My Nu Leng, we were faced with that exact task.

Much loved and hard to categorise, My Nu Leng both inspired and tested our usual design practices. Armed with insight into their inspirations, sound and fan base we looked to craft a rich and vibrant identity with weight both visually and culturally.

Our edgy, angular idea brought together the complex nature of the band’s music with their distinct and recognisable sound. Our design was influenced by the energy, fans and the finite nature of My Nu Leng’s music.
